So the Eleaf products seem to be hit and miss for some people, some love them, some hate them. Myself I love them, never had an issue with them except with the iStick 50w, the fire button was very temperamental and sometimes had a mind of its own. So for a while I kind of went off any devices they made, but then they sent me this and I must say, I love it! Now this can retail anywhere from £39.99 – £50 depending on where you purchase it from so don’t expect a lot of high quality metals etc etc.. The mod does have an almost cheap feel to it to be honest, very plastic feeling and has one hell of a button rattle to it. Normally button rattle doesn’t bother me at all but with this one it does it a lot. Now if you can see past those two negatives then get on to how it performs and fits in the hand then I am sure you will be happy with this product, I am and I am mega fussy when it comes to mods. It takes two 18650 batteries that sit in parallel but has an extra bonus, it can be powered by only one battery which is excellent in my opinion. The batteries are hidden behind an extremely strong magnetic door (one of the best magnetic doors I have ever had) the batteries can be charged via USB but here is one thing that really bugs me about the iStick 100w, the USB port is on the bottom, yes the fecking bottom of the mod. I mean it is not as though they never had enough room, it is a huge mod.
One other bonus is the spring loaded 510 pin, every tank I have tried on the mod fits perfectly (Atlantis V2, eGo One Mega, Arctic Subtank, Delta II). Every tank I have had on it hits nice and hard, this is one thing I love about Eleaf products, to me they hit harder at the same watts than some other mods I have tried.
So to round it all off, here are some good points, some bad points and my final opinion!
Pros
Hits hard
Looks great
Strong magnetic door
Choice of Black or Silver
Spring loaded 510 pin
Charges via USB (passthrough capable)
Changeable batteriesNegatives
Feels cheap
USB port on bottom
Button rattleFinal Opinion
So what is my final opinion? Well, I would highly recommend the iStick 100w, I know it does have a few bad points to it but there is a lot of positives about this mod too. It does feel cheap but it fits comfortably in the hand even though it is a big device. I love it and I am sure most people will too. So here are some pictures for you then below them is a link where you can purchase this for £39.99 (UK)
