Titus Nano by TECC
So I must admit, I never even heard of this little kit before getting it in for review. Once I found out it was coming I tried to do a bit of research like I normally do when I receive a product in for review however details on this could either be taken great or bad (I leave that up to you). But my reaction was skeptical and rightly so!
The Titus Nano has the sleek looks of an eGo pen with what looks a bit like an Evod tank on top, it has a built in 650mAh battery that can be charged via the supplied micro USB cable. The tank capacity is 1.3ml and comes with a 1.2ohm CL Joyetech (eGo One) coil.
Looks & Feel
The kit looks fantastic, feels great in the hand and I think would appeal to a lot of vapers. I have the stainless steel version but it is also available in black, blue, pink and white. Being only 650mAh the battery won’t last long but I think this is ideal for a quick nip out for a meal or a trip to the shops etc.. The button has a nice click to it and has no movement to it which means it doesn’t have the dreaded “rattlesnake” sound that so many of us hate. The drip tip has a great size to it, not too small and not too big and if you don’t like it then you can just swap it out for any 510 drip tip of your choice.
Performance
So moving on to how it performs. Well, you have to look at this from a few different perspectives – If you are a mouth to lung hitter like a lot of vapers out there then this is a perfect kit for those quick out and about shopping trips. On the other hand if you (like me) are a direct lung hitter then I would avoid this kit and here is why. The Titus has adjustable airflow BUT even wide open there is that mega tight feeling similar to that of a ce4 clearo which just annoys the life out of me. I personally see no point in even having an adjustable airflow ring on there, the holes are tiny and when closing them off I find it very hard to notice any real difference in draw. The 1.2ohm coil is perfect for mouth to lung vaping and will extend the battery life a little bit more but if you prefer a different type of vape then the coil can be change to a 0.5ohm coil due to the battery going as low as 0.3ohm but can you imagine how many draws you would get with a 0.3ohm/0.5ohm coil on a 650mAh battery? Not much at all lol!
Final Opinion
So would I recommend this product? Yes, to someone wanting to start vaping or to someone needing just that extra kit to carry around for an emergency vape. If however like me you are more into lots of airflow and lung hits then sadly, no. Below are some pictures of the device and packaging, I hope this helped you out on some level and be sure to check out the links below the pictures for more info etc..
